What it is a Aivon?

AIVON is the first decentralized video search engine, powered by AI and human crowdsourcing. Our team has been working incredibly hard and is excited to be sharing our latest updates with you.

An Open Network for Video Powered by Artificial Intelligence and Human Experts

Artificial Intelligence Video Open Network (AIVON) is a decentralized, open-source blockchain protocol and ecosystem built on a consensus network of Artificial Intelligence (AI) computing resources and a community of human experts, used to generate normalized and enhanced metadata for video content.  Developers can build Decentralized Video Applications (DApps) on top of the AIVON protocol, the first of which will be the first decentralized Open Video Search Engine which #AIVON will build. Platform participants can either run AI nodes or provide expertise and be rewarded with AVO Tokens

#Industry problems:
1. Video content lacks rich and normalized meta data must also be normalized and standardized if it is to be used for better search and discovery.if the metadata isn’t normalized and standardized,such as when multiple uploader upload the same video to YouTube with defferent descriptions,you would get defferent metadata based on who is uploading it.
Because humans are biased with their own perspective each human looking at the same video will come up with different metadata information and tags for that video.

2.online video is global but localization is big issue another challenging problem within the video industry is that least 80% of content on the internet is accesible ini only one of 10 top languages.
Most video on the internet are only accesible in a single language, usually english.it means that video distribution is limited and much of the world is out of reach for content producers regardless of wheter their videos are accesible through search engines and video platform.

3.Ensuring content safety for brands and viewers one of the most challenging problem in the video industry is to ensure video content are safe for our children to watch and for brands to advertise on trought access to metadata.
Due to number of online videos viewed daily aspecially by kids, the importance of video safety is becoming more and more important.

#Solution
_Artificial intelligence
Specialized AI algorithms Will be deployed on mining nodes,so that miners CPU and GPU resource can be used to scan media files,generat the enhanced metadata including time coded tags, classification,categories,transcripts and translation, and an index of the video objects.

_Contentgraph
AIVON platform will use #AI to define a confidence score for each of several content safety attributes,such as:
Nudity,adult,offensive language,hate speech, violence,gun, alcohol etc.
These confidence scores Will be combined into a vector called a contentGraphTM which can be visualized as a bar graph.

_Human Expert
AIVON uses a network of freelancers with skillsh in tagging, metadata management,transcribing and translation.
AIVON Wil empower its community with tools which enable individual to review,verify and correct the AI-derived metadata, including the categorizations,transcriptions and translations.

_RoadMap_
*Nov 2017: planning connected.

*May 2018: Authoring of technical whitepaper.

*Sep 2018: release 1.0 with basic features of hosting AI,task allocations,facility for review by human expert.

*DEC 2018: Release of minimum viable product (MVP), including load balancing,workflow for human expert,generation of content Graph.

*DEC 2019: release of V3.0 with interoperable data schemas such as PBcore and EBUcore.
